listen to ‘enamored’ by clayton jones
Several months ago Clayton wrote a song called Enamored that will be like a theme song for us the next few months as we walk through the book of Colossians. We’ll be singing it many Sundays and you can listen to the song here on our website throughout this series. We’re excited to learn this song together and so thankful for the gift God has given Clayton and his willingness to serve our church with his gifts.
Verse 1
There’s no words to describe
Your perfection
So for starters I’ll say
Hallowed be Your name
King of kings
Lord of all of creation
Fully God, fully man
Yet, you never change
Pre-Chorus 1
You know no beginning
And no end
All knowledge and all wisdom’s
In Your hands
I can’t comprehend
Just high Your thoughts
Are above my head
Chorus
I’m enamored by You Jesus
When I think of You
I can’t help but pause and worship
I could meditate night and day
On all Your ways
About who You are
And everything You do
Jesus, I’m so enamored by You
Verse 2
Every season of life, You are faithful
Even when I return
To my sinful waste
Day by day You refine and restore me
By Your Spirit You’re
Making me whole again
Pre-Chorus 2
You reached in and saved me
From the pit
No, not because anything I did
Now I understand
What it means to love
Without strings attached
Bridge
I’m enamored
I’m enamored
I’m enamored by You, by You
Pre-Chorus 3
Who am I, that you would
Graft me in
Look me in the eyes and
Call me “friend”
What am I to do
But to give you all
The praise I can give
Chorus 3
I’m enamored by You Jesus
When I think of You
I can’t help but pause and worship
I could meditate night and day
On all Your ways
About who You are
And everything You do
Tag
You’re the greatest gift
How could I refuse?
Jesus, I’m so enamored by You
